ACTIVITIES TO PLAY WITH COLOURS ( EASY DIY FOR 12 TO 18 MONTH OLD )

Hello Everyone, Namaste , hope u all are good and doing well. Definitely enjoying motherhood too. This phase is full of sweet memories and fun activities. Being a mommie we forget all the entertainment and activities except entertaining our kids. What we all need is our baby and nothing else. We create memories we used to save the dates whenever our kid does something new like sit, stand or walk.We used to click these pictures and create memories. Another form of creating memories is having kids foot and hand prints which are really so cute and great source of memories. Anvi is a naughty toddler, all the time I want her to indulge in any kind of activities and you know nothing is better than colors..
EASY DIY FOR TODDLERS 12 to 18 months is the time when our toddler started exploring their tiny world. They walk, run, sit, play, sing and dance, they climb on the bed and stairs. They push or pull etc etc etc.... Anvi love the colours. Most of the time we play with colours and she enjoy the most. This is little messy but we love it.When she became one year old we have taken her foot prints on her own scrap book. That time I came to know that she love colors and enjoyed a lot. So many parents are too eager to capture their kids foot and hand prints which really become an awesome memory. Have you ever think that you can make beautiful pictures and cards from these foot and hand prints. These foot prints can somehow decorate your home and you can gift them to someone on their special day. These drawings can decorate your walls and look really beautiful.Yes guys I am talking about foot and hand prints craft and art. It could be great for a keepsake for parents, grandparents and relatives etc.
FIRST ACTIVITY FOR OUR MUNCHKINS As kids are exploration always want to touch, eat, feel whatever they have or found. My kiddo is just like yours. She tastes everything wether itz a news paper, color, cookies or mud. Yes, only you can make them eat healthy. Firstly we make a bird from kids' footprints. So we need some stuff which I am mentioning here. MATERIAL USED For this card we should use only natural or edible colors because kids always want to taste whatever they have. I used Turmeric and edible food color. You can use Beet root juice, coffee powder, coriander or mint leaves as these are the good source of color. Another thing I need is A4 size plain paper, A bow pr ribbon, Red color lipstick for beak and black sketch to draw birds feet, a black bindi for making eyes.
HOW TO MAKE You can start this DIY by dipping your child's foot into yellow color made with turmeric into that White paper (You can use different colors too). Take some of the color in ur thumb and make birds head. Use red lipstick and made beak.Later on when these prints got dry make birds eye with the black bindi. Grab a pretty ribbon cut and paste into his neck and tie a bow. You can make his feet too with black eyeliner.
So your footprint bird is ready. You can paste that into a card board or frame that. It will become a life time memory.
SECOND ACTIVITY FOR TODDLERS
Another DIY with art and colour is to make a foot prints flower. Footprint flower is such a special idea. You can gift that flower to someone on special occasion. As toddler always love colors and love to paint with their feet. Well my daughter too love paint and colors she is too small to paint her own so that I used these foot prints for creating memories. Painting with children is quiet hard because they never sit properly and always ready to move. So that I let my baby sit on a chair and then I take her footprints. MATERIAL USED Orange food color, Green color, pink lipstick, plain white A4 size paper.. HOW TO DRAW I painted her feet when she sit on a chair and then I our one door and dip into the color and paste into the paper. Done same with the another door. She just love this fun DIY activity as that the time she was singing. After that I draw leaves and stem with green color and decorate it with pink colour lipstik.
I love Anvi's footprints on this card. This is an awesome memory.Later on I ll gift that card to her masi on her birthday. Which could be a special gift for her. Most of the time we make these types of the drawing and frame. These drawings are the best part of our Parenting journey. Hope you all like this activity. Thanku guys!
